About the event

Details for the ritual will be posted soon!

Join the Temple of the Feminine Divine as we celebrate Beltane! Beltane is the halfway point between the Spring and Summer solstices. It's the perfect balancing point between leaving the dark behind and welcoming in the light, where we honor the divine balance between masculine and feminine energy. The Maypole represents the unity of these energies with the pole itself being masculine and the ribbons we wrap around it being feminine. It's the time of year when we celebrate fertility, abundance, fire, and fun.

This event is open to the public and a suggested donation of $10 for the ritual goes a long way in helping us provide these public events. We will also be collecting nonperishable food and pet food for the local shelters. We will be hosting this event at the Unitarian Universalist Society of Bangor at 120 Park St.

We are committed to maintaining a safe and sacred space for all to enjoy and ask that you keep this in mind while visiting. We welcome all genders, sexual orientations, and faiths. All Temple events are scent free. If you have any questions please feel free to message us.

We hope to see you there!
